Anyone notice that since the Obama administration was inaugurated, gun violence has increased significantly?

I first thought when blurbs of it was being mentioned, that some were simply embellishing for politricks.

But have a look at this...

    http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/12/mass-shootings-mother-jones-full-data

From Ronald Reagan (1981-1989) to George W. Bush (2000-2009), there was a count of 47 "mass shootings", most notable the news of the Virginia Tech incident (will address that in another thread).

But under the Obama administration, the last 8 years have yielded 35 of these "mass shootings".

    Look at the numbers again:

    • 47 "mass shootings" over 28 years and 4 administrations
    • 35 "mass shootings" over 8 years and 1 administration

    Say huh???

That's an average of 4-5 "mass shootings" a year

This image shows a visual representation of victims from 1966 to 2016

At the top in red is from 2009-2016
Which is roughly a fourth of the represented victims.

And this doesn't account for Chicago
