Whoa! Pardon my ignorance, but this is completely too funny!
First of all, Eliot Spitzer did not "step down;" he was in a situation whereby he could not continue on serving as Governor of New York. Remember that he does have enemies, and they were pushing to get him out of there for a while. Read NYS Government-based newspapers such as the Legislative Gazette (
http://www.legislativegazette.com/) for more on that. Moreover, I am positive that if he did not resign at the time he did, the people of NY would have started up a referendum, or petition, that would have led to him resigning. Neither way, he would have not finished off the year as Governor.
Secondly, Gov. Paterson did not "choose" or was not "picked" to become Governor. David Paterson was the Lieutenant Governor of the state. By state law, when serving a term in office, when the Governor in whatever way happens to be unable to complete that term, the Lieutenant Governor takes over. That is state law - as far as using 'occultist' powers to make his way "to the top," that is completely beyond me. If it wasn't a state law, who would serve as Governor? (let alone, who is the new Lieutenant Governor for NY?) Look into it a little further, and you will find it was moreso a matter of getting Spitzer out vs. getting Paterson in. Nothing to do with anything Paterson "had" or practiced. If Jayshawn Smith was Lt. Governor, he too would have replaced Spitzer!
Lastly, let us not forget that prior to becoming Governor (Lt. Governor for that matter), David Paterson was simply an ordinary NY state politician from the Democratic party. It was Eliot Spitzer who picked Paterson to run with him as Lt. Governor. That being said, if anything, Spitzer was practicing magic.
Bottom line - Spitzer was Governor, and Paterson Lieutenant Governor. Spitzer resigns, and Paterson replaces. Please tell me where occultism and pro-black comes into play. All I seen there was a NY state law being carried out.
