Close your eyes as you rest
your head in my lap today
so that I can ease the stress
with my loving embrace;

allow your mind to wander
into places of peace and pure
voice of serenity so that we
can play amongst the grass;

as I watch you find comfort
and your head becomes heavy
i gently pull your hair allowing
it to dictate my hands direction;

i stroke your hair until you smile
assuring me you have accepted
my touch and your cove of peace
has been located in your rest;

when I hear you release a slight sigh
i slowly lift my hand from your hair
continuing the stroking movement
yet moving away with each stride;

another sigh assures me you have
not noticed that I no longer touch
you in the physical sense but now I
have entered your place of comfort;

with my hand just a few inches away
from your skin I slowly release into
you the aura of my emotions as I move
my hand slowly across your face;

i see the smile appear when I trace
the outline of your lips without the
physical touches and looks to see you
respond so willingly to my every move;

then you let out a stronger sigh when
you feel my hand move over your left
shoulder and slowly down your arm to
your hand which opens to meet mine;

I smile when you open your eyes you
discover that I am no longer sitting
with your head in my lap but I am in
the chair sitting across the room

With my hand closed in the form of yours…

wow...how can i answer these questions...

Haven't publushed a book yet for when i think one manuscript is finished it takes on a new form...

but i'm working on it...

as for the form...well, the length is the metre that i used to keep continuity...it is the only rule i follow...

i hope that helps...

thanks for the read and the insight...

one.
