I've been following the Nigerian film scene for a few years now and have had the pleasure (or displeasure) of watching a few Nigerian films. They are notoriously low-budget and poorly acted, but they are incredibly interesting for what one Ghanian lady described to me as showing the African "charaaac-ter". Indeed they do, and now some filmmakers have made a documentary on the industry. It would be nice to be in Brooklyn on August 25th for the screening.
