i hear you breathing
deeply, your eyelids
closed in beautiful
slumber

i sit beside you
my hands
poised just above
your heaving chest

your body
warms my palms

you are amazing!

turning away
from me
you rest your
head upon your
hands

i am caught up
again
in earlier
scenes of
limbs entwined,
loving fingers,
locked loins,
hairs mingled

my tongue
remembers
the luscious
slide of your
flavor

your frothy
bouquet
fermenting
on my buds

you move onto
your stomach now
a small sigh
accompanies
quickening
breath
through
your nostrils

as i sit beside
you savoring
tastes like
forever-after-nectar
you come
full
circle upon
your back
reach out
your arms

&
lay
me
down
again
