I bet she still doesn't understand why she had to apologize. This is why it is so important for us to teach our history to our young. She is in it just for the money.

maybe the first thing we need to teach is how to recognize a black person when you see one.
as i hinted in my post, she is not 'ours' she is not black.

'Minaj was born in 1984 in Saint James,(a suburb of Trinidad and Tobago's capital city Port of Spain). Her parents were of Indian and Afro-Trinidadian ancestry'

Afro-Trinidadian, which means that she is of part African ancestry, just as brother Malcolm's mom was from Grenada. So, she should know better.

"What seems to be the issue now? Do you have a problem with me referring to the people Malcolm X was ready to pull his gun out on as Lookin *** ******? Well, I apologize. That was never the official artwork nor is this an official single. This is a conversation. Not a single. I am in the video shooting at Lookin *** ****** and there happened to be an iconic photo of Malcolm X ready to do the same thing for what he believed in!!!! It is in no way to undermine his efforts and legacy. I apologize to the Malcolm X estate if the meaning of the photo was misconstrued. The word “*****” causes so much debate in our community while the “*****” behavior gets praised and worship. Let’s not. Apologies again to his family. I have nothing but respect an adoration for u. The photo was removed hours ago. Thank you"

Looking at this image, Malik seems to be the one "Lookin", so yea... there is a problem with it without any other context. Let's see Nicki put down 16 bars about the brother and then one may change their conclusion.

A conversation? With who, to who, for who, and for what purpose... let's hear this conversation. Is there a blog Nicki has on this, any lyrics speaking on this, etc?

Apologies to the "estate"... hmmmm, that will be a heck of a lot of apologizing considering it is not just an "estate", but "a state" of mind that was needed during a time of egregious oppression, suppression, depression, and outright evil again a people.

Now if Nicki comes out with a Public Enemy, KRS (haaa, let me stop), COUP, etc type of delivery, then sure let them have it... controversy and all.

But to put out something just to make someone go ooooo, and not have the context to back it up, thus, having to recant the thought, only makes me realized that the brainwashing of the record labels and the "Star Dumb", does exactly what Joe Clark said about crack in Lean on Me...

    Respect
