For once, I can not locate any information.

I have a book entitled A COMPLETE HISTORY OF THE NEGRO LEAGUES, 1884 TO 1955 by Mark Ribowsky and no information per your request.

    I also searched allmusic.com

You may further check the allmusic site using different names to see if somethign comes up and I am sharing this link so you can use for further searches.

    Peace...

    Let's Unite

The theme of Unity has been a recurring one in recent weeks. I have posted a call for Unity on this forum. I have posted several on my blog. But, I will not repeat my blog address here because to do so may expose me to the usual non-sense about me trying to "spam' this forum.

What is happening here is, and cannot be, anyt logical or reasonable rejection of Pan-Africanism or African Unity. So, those who are opposed must resort to dirty tricks and lies. Instead of addressing themselves to the issue at hand, the merits or de-meets of Pan-Africanism, the pro and cons; some of us resort to attacks against personality and against various political programs. Having no sense of decency or principles, they resort to indecent and unprincipled smear campaigns.

Maybe these tricks were not learned at the University of Tel Aviv. I am not an alumnus of the U of Tel Aviv, or of UCLA. So, I cannot be sure about this: maybe they learned these tricks at UCLA instead of the U of Tel Aviv. Who knows!!!

I have tried to be humorous with Brother Omowale X. I have tried to be light hearted and not too heavy. It is good to let off a little steam sometimes, to avoid too much stress. But, unfortunately, some of us do not seem to have much a sense of humor. Nevertheless, when the heat really gets on, we may find a need for a sense of humor. So, for those who are serious and sincere, if you do not have a sense of humor, I pass on Osagyefo’s advice: get one.

In order that we may have an intelligent and fruitful discussion, I appeal to all to avoid wasting valuable time, energy and resources on counter-productive, vicious and unprincipled attacks against the personality, religion, ethnicity and “race” of other Africans. What good can we hope to accomplish by stooping to such a low level of discourse. Are we not civilized? Are we not honest men and women?

I have criticized zionism. At first, I tried to keep it humorous: U of Tel Aviv. But, that did not work so well. So, let’s get to a simplified and clear explanation.

Zionism is detrimental to the best interests of the world community and to world peace. Why? Because it oppresses and murders innocent men, women and children, daily. Thousands upon thousands have been slaughtered like dogs in recent years. The leaders of al-HAMAS were “decapitated”. Many leaders are simply murdered outright by the zionists. There are little criticisms allowed in this country of these obvious crimes. As quietly as it is kept, the indigenous people of Palestine are human beings. As such they are a part of humanity. They have a GOD-given right to life and security. When a Palestinian is murdered, the whole of humanity suffers. This is why every self-respecting, honest, decent and peace-loving person in the world must oppose zionism.

I have found that it desirable when I criticize zionism, to clarify zionism’s relationship to Judaism. Zionism originates in secularism and atheism, not Judaism. As such, it actually opposes the essence of Judaism. It is a secular political ideology, not a religion. Judaism, on the other hand, is a religion. On my blog, I have given a detailed rendition on Judaism as a religion and its relationship to the other religions of Christianity and Islam. Specifically, all three of these Great Religions originate with the Holy Prophet Abraham (Peace and Blessings be upon him). Therefore, there is a spiritual kinship among all three religions. Muslims are the spiritual cousins of Jews and Christians.

I am a Muslim. Do not attack me because I am a Muslim. I mention the fact only to prove to you that Muslims do not hate Jews for being Jews. Qur’an specifically commands Muslims to let there be no compulsion in religion (Qur’an, Surah 2:256). In other words, we are commanded to respect other religions, especially Christianity and Judaism. So, I mention my Islam only to verify that I do not hate Jews. It is also clear to me that Judaism, like Christianity, like Islam is an African religion.

We Africans need to find a solid foundation upon which to unite. We are organizing, in the face of some pretty nasty opposition and vicious attacks, a political Front. Many of us do not even know what a Front is. But, His Excellency President Sekou Toure has given us a pretty good definition. This definition is under “Political Unity” in my blog. It is also available in the works of Al-Hajj Malik al-Shabazz (Malcolm X).

In practical every day terms, a political Front is something like this. We do not care about petty little differences among Africans. No two people are exactly the same, anyhow. Therefore, to organize is to find ways and means to overcome differences. We do not care if a person is a Jew, a Christian, a Muslim or any other religion; there is room for them in the political Front. We do not care if a person is a Republican, a Democrat a Socialist, a Communist or any other political ideology; there is room for them in the political Front. We do not care if a person is a male or female; short or tall, skinny or fat, black or white. We do not care if an African speaks Amharic, Swahili, Arabic or any other African language. There is room for them in the political Front. We care not about their ethnicity or “race”. All we really care about is their love for Africa. There is room for them in the political Front.

Early in the African Revolution, Osagyefo called for Africans for Africa. That is what we care about. Any African who has the best interests of Africa at heart will be embraced and welcomed into the political Front. This is a political Front in reality, not a front in name only. This makes the FUDAA a unique and a historic milestone.

His Excellency President Toure clearly states that a political Front does not compete with political parties. To the contrary, the Front mobilizes new recruits for the various political parties. No matter what an African may or may not believe in he/she can join the Front. Once there, he/she may join one of the various political formations in the Front. Or, if he/she can find none to fit his/her particular needs, he/she may start a new political formation and still remain a part of the Front.

This is why I know that all of this hot air I keep hearing is simply counter-productive, counter-revolutionary. It can only harm Africans. It cannot benefit us as a community or as a people. It can only confuse people. Prevent us from uniting while at the same time not doing anything at all to answer our needs for unity or organization. Can anyone be so evil as to allow our people to suffer and die by the millions while doing absolutely nothing to try to solve the problems that we face as the African Nation?

All we need are a few sincere and honest Africans:

    Africans for Africa.

    Let’s go forward. Let’s Unite!

    Why?

WHY choose a thread devoted to one of My Ancestors and Mastor Teachers to carry out your defamation?

Are you that desperate for attention that you have to go out of your way to a thread dedicated to HONORING OUR ANCESTORS to advance your "smear campaign".

Please take your personal issues elsewhere....:garbage:

    And STOP "fronting"!

Interesting you do as you accuse others "resorting to smear campaigns and lies".

You can point out my "LIES" exactly in that thread in question.

The movement "history" is clear and EASY to PROVE.
