Black Spirituality Religion : NGE Issues With The Goddess

Okay, but I'm not (no longer) a part of that curriculum, so that doesn't apply to me. I'm asking how the NGE reconciles the notion of Black Woman as Goddess, which is an ancient concept of Black culture.

What I'm asking is, why "Earth", and not Goddess?

In none of our Black history, is the position of Woman regulated to that of strictly Earth. There are male Gods that govern the Earth (Geb, Esasar) plane as well, just as there are Goddesses that govern the Sun (Sekhmet, Yembo).
You're a lost cause. You claim to be a part of this nation at one time and don't know the answer to this? [Shaking my head] Stop already. I'm not interested in your griping and I'm sure you'll be hard pressed to find anyone in the nation who is. We teach the babies not corny, old, dudes who couldn't hang and have no understanding.

I know what the NGE says about it, but I did not agree with it then, and don't agree with it now. Hope that's okay with you, and it's too bad if it's not.

So in other words, you have no answers? That's fine, and I don't expect you to be in this thread anymore then, right?
