New toys
Yes but these toys I didn't buy
From the toy store
These are the blessings
I stole from you
While your back was turned
See how I play around
With your prosperity
Wearing a coat of honor
That doesn't even fit me

New toys
Yes but these toys
Santa Claus didn't
Bring on Christmas day
This is the portion
Of the inheritance
I stole from you
While your back was turned
Yes Jacob and Esau
It was the switch
Wearing your birth right
And hoping you don't see

New toys
Yes but these toys
Daddy did not leave under the tree
This is the lot
That I stole from your
Anointing, honor, position, authority
Look at how I try to wear it
And yet still try to be me
It was because of your kindness
I walked right in
Carrying the sword that once belonged to you
Now I hope God doesn't see me or I'm through
