Nearly 140 Dead in Feared Haitian Cholera Outbreak
Haiti is confronting what’s being called it’s biggest medical emergency since the January earthquake with a suspected outbreak of cholera. Nearly 140 people have died and over 1,500 have fallen ill in the central region of Lower Artibonite. Haitian presidential candidate Charles Henry Baker appealed for aid after visiting the area.

Charles Henry Baker: "The situation is terrible. Inside the hospital, they’re overcrowded. They’re not overcrowded, it’s beyond overcrowded. They need some field hospitals put up as quickly as possible to be able to take in the amount of people they have. They need doctors. They need nurses. OK? People are all over, on the floor, the way it was after the 12th of January. We need help. We need quick help.

In civil service man know, that there is a payroll deposit system, that is used for a iost of ones favorite charities and concerns,

One wonders how more efficient a cadre of our best and brightest young accountants and actuaries , orchesrating oversight of he still yet unrecieved disaster funds, would have prevented some of this, as well as establish a
actual continual development fund for the first group unified and focused
African ex slaves to form a nation and to fight against white supremacy and has been brutalized by Europeans ever since.

The American Red Cross said the situation was troubling.

"This is not an area directly affected by the earthquake of January 12, but we are concerned about the speed with which this outbreak has spread," said the US relief group, which is working with Haitian health officials.

"Contaminated river water is the suspected source, as most of the cases have occurred in an area stretching from north-central to north-west Haiti along the Artibonite River. A sanitary cordon is in place around the affected region in an effort to contain the spread of disease."

Another relief group, World Vision, said it was sending supplies and other aid.
"This is extremely worrying. Early reports indicate that many of the casualties showed few symptoms and, in some cases, died within 24 to 48 hours," said World Vision emergency response official Estrella Serrano.

With the amerikkkan military being in there for that long period of time, and the white man's history on disease warfare, this is far from some natural coincidence. The historical ties to them being manhandled by our brothers in haiti, and being the only "Independent" black republic in the west, tells me all i need to know about the past year and whats been happening there.

What I don't understand is how can we be comfortable here with a trillion dollars and the latest communications technology in the world and just sit by while the one little tiny nation that means much to every person of African descent gets dawged every other minute

Brother Chinelo, you make a good point and all those things are highly possible; however, consider the fact that our water, which is to say the world’s water supply, is and has been in trouble for quite some time, in terms of adequate resources of so-called, clean water.

Here are some links to the fluoride problem concerning our own water supply here in America, notwithstanding, so-called third world countries sustaining inability to produce enough, clean water…Peace In,

Besides, what's with this bottled water syndrone or craze? Peace In,

We as Africans here, still should have had a national fund to aid Haiti on the reg'.

From the time this post was raised, we purchased enough, potatoe chips, tortilla chips and cheese puffs, scratch offs and energy drinks,
    across the nation,

to have built a hospital down there

I feel that all folks here are people of good will and as long as we keep the focus some one or some hundred may have a plan , that we could all support, and replicate from state to state.
