My ears one day heard an uplifting song
This song say
"Never would have made it"
"Never could have made it"
Without you
Without you
So true
My God you have been so good to me
You have uplifted me more ways than one
Just this year has been more blows than Muhammed Ali victorious fights
I've lost my home
Lost my way
Kids been very disobedient
My fiance strayed
Family turning away from me
Because they can't see what I have
Or I think I have
All the things I've done to keep my family afloat
You always hear do what I gotta do
Sometimes doing what you gotta do comes at a price
So I ask what price would you pay
I come now before you this sinner to tell you
No matter what you are going thru God is still with you
and me
I pray for you as well I hope you pray for me
Time is hard
Time are hard
Time is running out
This song as I was listening, thinking there wasn't hope
He has reminded me that thru all the mess
He was still there
And that I would have never made it
I need you Father

For I have strayed against you Father
Micah 1:7 says, "Rejoice not against me, "Oh mine enemies, when I fall, I shall rise, when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me
Isn't it a comfort, isn't a blessing to know the Lord is still on my side
So to my enemies for you may laugh at my failures
But know I shall rise
