46 dynasties in Egipt made way for co-existence
For the gold stole and secrets revealed there was scarce resistance

For instance, think of how the Grinch Stole Christmas
at least he brought it back
We as a people continue to get taxed

Back to Africa and pre-dynastic times
Forward to American culture the grit and grime

the good, bad, and the ugly.. rebel flags wave
the "Red X" recieves such a hex for treatment of slaves

Reparations Are Due! and so is truth
I need to hide a recorder in a Catholic confession booth

I would like to hear with my own ears
    the injustice and dirt
    That evil in human form
    has done on this Earth

First, speak of experiments on blacks, browns, and others
Then, speak of the atrocities done to my very own mother

As for my brother WAKE UP! and act like it
You know what it is, then yell it recite it

Hip-Hop died and it's been resurrected
many times before so, the whole world respects it

like Jesus, like Mohammed, like messengers and prophets
like Saints, Nuns and witnesses wishing that I would stop it

when Jay-Z dropped an album he was truly recognized
like an A'ferti or a pharoah with piercing eyes

Lil Wayne, the boy King like Tutankhamen
Cash Money is the army better yet, the navy bombin'

Condoleeza as Cleopatra and Oprah as Nefertiti
"Black Power!", yells Farakan "I hope the world sees me."

We have our Jesse, our Al, Jeremiah, our pals
Obama won Alabama?!? shoot, I was all smiles

It goes on and on through race and religion
through birth from rape and killing
It takes a village to raise chi'ren
    Dynasty Neverending
    .................:jumping:

    Hi Shaiyn
    Your poem bring to light
just how much power we as a people have.
I like the reflection of age range. It shows just
how the power flows in reaching all peolpe.
It seem like we are growing.
We are the seeds of a great nation.

    Peace to all

Un Hunh! Yes, Long Live the Black Dynasty! You have some great points. I think you reap what you show is evident here. Eventhough we've been taken from alot as a people. We've found strength that was given to us from above when we really had nothing left. As a result we've actually gained more than what was taken from us in the first place. For example when they took our freedom we gained unity. When they took our women we became real men. When they took the lives of our ancestor they became martyrs. Needless to say we got ripped but they'll never take away our faith that has brought us over and continues to bring us over. Faith is what keeps us and it is the reason why the walls of our Dynasty will always be strong. Well said words of Empowerment!
