When I was a child I was lost
In a hostile land,
As I grew I moved my feet and I was going
Down this road,
Over this bridge,
In search of the path
I found direction in the measurement of my steps
My spirit grew from the sturdiness of my feet
My soul healed from the determination in my heart
My courage came from the faith, in knowing
That each step taken,
I was never alone.
