you know most white people with money need to have things legitimized before they succumb to their cravings:
    - Bo Derek legitimized corn rows
    - Vanilla Ice legitimized rap...followed by Slim Shady
    - Now, Neiman-Marcus is legitimizing collard greens. Now that they have the okay, you will have rich, white people adding collard greens to their menus from now on. We all know how stupid it is to pay $66 for some collard greens...but Neiman-Marcus isn't targeting us; Neiman-Marcus is giving their rich customers the okay to eat collard greens. Which could, indirectly, help us; at least, it could end up helping black-owned soul food eateries. Once they realize that they can go to an "all you can eat," for fifteen-to-twenty bucks, Neiman-Marcus will stop selling collard greens.

Paula Deen been trying to sell collard greens to white people for a long time. lol Neiman Marcus--they must have a Black man or woman up in their administration somewhere for this to happen.

But can white people cook collards as good as Black people?

I Ate White People’s Collard Greens and It Tasted Like Oppression
    A fun read . . . lol

Watch the price of collards, turnips and mustard greens go up after white folk catch on to them. Get your private or community gardens started next spring, people because you may not be able to afford buying them in stores anymore.

What next Chitterlings (Chitlins)? Ugh...now them--I can't handle. Dang, Paula Deen been all up in Black folk kitchens stealing recipes and getting rich. What else is new, right?

Wait...she said "Chitlin's are considered a delicacy..." Iono 'bout you, but to me, ain't nothing "delicate" about Chitlins. :gas:

    i always preferred hog maws.....

"Hog maw is the stomach of a pig.
More specifically, it is the exterior muscular wall of the stomach organ which contains no fat if cleaned properly.
It can be found in soul food, Chinese, Pennsylvania Dutch, Mexican, Portuguese and Italian dishes"

I bet that keeps you clean. lol

Is there anything on a pig, people don't eat?

And in medicine, researchers say that pigs have more in common with humans than apes.

Oh my, who does this look like? :eeek:

"Pigs share a number of surprising comparable traits with humans. For instance, we both have hairless skin, a thick layer of subcutaneous fat, light-colored eyes, protruding noses and heavy eyelashes. Pig skin tissues and heart valves can be used in medicine because of their compatibility with the human body. Medical students often practice suturing on pig's feet."

Pigs and humans share more genetic similarities than previously believed

New genetic analysis reveals a hidden evolutionary relationship between pigs and primates.
