(My UMD Family will get me for saying this...)

As much as it disappoints me to say this, I am going with UNC and PITT to be two of the teams in the Final Four. The Big East really is too competitive for me to choose a winner, but PITT has been playing tough. UNC goes to my campus today and hammers our team, but I still have to go with them to make the Final Four. DUKE will get hurt in the paint during the tournament, CLEMSON and WAKE will probably be eliminated before the Final Four, and UCONN will go down at the same time. UCONN lost their championship when their big man was taken down against PITT, and when they lost their back-court man due to injury. Long way to go before they recover from that.

UNC was shellshocked in OT to Maryland 88-85 they might fall a spot or two in the poll
just like Penn state drops my Illini in Illinios and they won't catch Michigan st. now !

PITTS / CONNECTICUT / NORTH CAROLINA / MEMPHIS or OKLAHOMA will all be there
i can see Oklahoma big time and the team to beat Connecticut and Pitts if Blake Griffin game is on
    there go to guy !

The sooners need to deal with the Longhorns of Texas first to prove themselves which wont be easy !

LOOK for some big changes in the polls this coming week

I knew it was going to happen with some key losses to top rank teams

    Pittsburgh Rank # 1 in the nation with a 25 - 2 after beating prev. # 1 Uconn
#2 UCONN... off night can bounce back and reclaim the top spot
#3 Oklahoma..... record speak for it self but at times show signs of defensive weakness
#4 Memphis..... A team many sleep on and a strong final four prospect.
#5 UNC ....North carolina must rebound and make a strong closing statement

    ....................................................................................................................
Teams that can steal the show , hurt you and send you packing ! beware of the blockbuster

    Xavier
    Kansas
    Michigan st.
    Marquette
    Texas
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Best Record before going into the selection of the field of 64
    Pitts ............................25-3
    Uconn...........................25-2
    Oklahoma.......................25-2
    Utah st. ........................25-3
    memphis.........................24-3
    UNC...............................24-3
    Missouri...........................23-4
    Marquette.........................23-4
    LSU.................................23-4
    Butler...............................23-4
    Duke.................................22-5
    Illinios................................22-6
    Xavier................................22-5
    Kansas...............................22-5
    Clemson..............................22-4
    Villanova.............................22-5
    Mich st. ..............................21-5
Florida st. / Gonzaga / Purdue / Arizona st. All with 21 wins and under 6 losses

Big Upset as #1 Rank Pittsburgh was beaten by Providence 81 -73 this could put
Oklahoma at the top ! or Uconn reclaim there place at the top !

    BIG EAST CONFERENCE

Like a war zone here top rank teams fighting for there place atop
    Connecticut
    Pittsburgh
    Marquette
    Louisville
    Villanova
in a tight race here and likely will place all in the field of 64

If you add Memphis based on what they have done, you also need to add Kansas for what they have done. Let us not forget that they took down Oklahoma. So what is Blake Griffin wasn't playing? He is not the only one on the team that has been getting them where they are. There are several shooting guards who have played key roles as well. Not only that, but even commentators were saying that whether they won or loss to Kansas the other night, they would be ready next time to play without him.

    I see either:

    UConn
    UNC
    Memphis
    Kansas
    Oklahoma
    PITT

    Winning it all next month!

Yes - I'll go with Xavier, but Texas has a long way to go. In the Big 12, I take Kansas and Missouri to be the only competition for Oklahoma. This is Judgement week, and outside of that, I await the Conference Tournaments...that will be when this gets real interesting, Bro!
