Nasa states that they have just un covered a planet that can sustain Life. The purpose of all planets is to sustain life . The purpose of all "suns" electro magnetic self sustaining gaseous bodies of hydrogen that give off energy to sustain life or change. Life has allways been existent in the uni verse. My question is only why are they starting the admit the truth now. I know i know most of us have been conditioned to under stand that the thought of life outside of the this planet was spooky or insane. Or the thought of elder beings be responsible for the planets development etc. As if the hu mans on this planet are some sort of being with higher knowledge that has evolved in math matics and science but still cant get over basic concepts as gender re ligion and racial differences. Ok off my soap box lol.. what do yall think?

70% of the American public beleive that not only is there intelligent civilization building life on other planets, or dimensional wave lengths in conjuntion with ours,
they also believe that the government has been hidinig the truth since the late 40s.

    Let's be honest they have been conditioning us to accept certain things through television movies and toys since the 60sand maybe before;

The oldest toy I can remember, from early childhood was this!
    What does this look like?
They marketed the hell out of this thing day and night
and every little child wanted one! I did too but my parents weren't havin' it.

And this popular toy of the 60s and early 70s

    peace god

This info. has never been secret, as WE have always known it and kept it deep inside of us. when THEY say that a planet besides earth can 'sustain life', they are more than likely talking about a planet that they have had the priveledge to get CLOSE ENOUGH TOO, but not actually been too and only have test samples of it's outer region and have not actually landed on anything, thus the term they always use "MAY sustain life" or their lives.

They've studied US so intensely 'down here' in this form for so long and still have no answers with all their 'high technology' that they, a while back started looking for OUR BIRTH PLACE under the guise of 'the space program' ........

Why did they not go back to the moon?....and why haven't they been to the dark side?....assuming of course that they ever went to the moon, which I seriously doubt! In general, as soon as a white man or woman opens their mouth, a lie comes out. So whenever they tell us ish, we got to investigate for real! However, them going into space and cloning the wooly mammoth back on earth within 5 years is the least of our problems. They are our problem and the earth's problem....and in reality our focus has to one some level be, "how are we going to get them off the planet". Looking at what they have done in only 500 years, does anyone in their right mind think that we or the earth, which we need to survive, can stand another 100 or 200 years of them being here??? Can we handle that at the pace they are moving and the things they are doing?? Can we handle that for too much longer is the question....with the answer being more than obvious!

the thing about this article is that it makes an assumption that life on a planet can only be sustained with similar conditions found here on earth....this initial assumption is flawed...

but we as humans can only talk about stuff we understand...
have u ever noticed that sci fi movies dealing with aliens generally deal with aliens that can survive in our atmospheric conditions and breath oxygen? in the realm of universal possibilities....this is only one possibility....
it is my belief that there is alien lifeforms way closer that 600 light years away...i believe there is alien life in this galaxy...we can only see life in the limited aspects of what we believe life is thus far....imho

    one love

--I knew the time was coming soon when they would say they discovered a planet like earth. Information like this, under circumstances such as those we’re under now and will be in the future, causes me to question the authenticity of this.

--“the spacecraft” Is that a regular term?

--If everything is so controlled, and it’s individuals, groups, corporations, and banks who control all governments of the world, including the US, how do you know how much of this is true?

    http://www.redorbit.com/news/space/...its-first-planet-in-habitable-zone/index.html
Kepler discovers planets and planet candidates by measuring dips in the brightness of more than 150,000 stars to search for planets that cross in front, or “transit,” the stars. Kepler requires at least three transits to verify a signal as a planet.
    Source: redOrbit (http://s.tt/14A4c)
--That doesn’t sound too reliable, no matter what record Kepler has. The picture at the top of the article is not even an actual picture (similar to Collin Powell’s mobile biological labs).

--Blocked lights in a theoretical zone (never been there nor seen it) = habitable planet?

--Many know that depression and other woes are coming soon, why not save yourself by loading into a spaceship bound for another planet -- a "new earth."

The planet’s host star belongs to the same class as our sun, called
called G-type, although it is slightly smaller and cooler.
    --Escape global warming ...!

There are 48 planet candidates in their star’s habitable zone. While this is a decrease from the 54 reported in February, the Kepler team has applied a stricter definition of what constitutes a habitable zone in the new catalog, to account for the warming effect of atmospheres, which would move the zone away from the star, out to longer orbital periods.
    Source: redOrbit (http://s.tt/14A4c)
The tremendous growth in the number of Earth-size candidates tells us that we’re honing in on the planets Kepler was designed to detect: those that are not only Earth-size, but also are potentially habitable,” said Natalie Batalha, Kepler deputy science team lead at San Jose State University in San Jose, Calif. “

    The title of the article:

Kepler Confirms Its First Planet In Habitable Zone

--This title is saying/implying something different than the actual truth, and they know it.
--You’re taken to the NASA site after clicking on this link at the end of the article
    NASA’s Kepler Mission
    http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/kepler/main/index.html
--On the main page under Latest Images are images which are man-made. There is no way they don’t know what they’re saying/implying when they post those images under Latest Images.

--I wrote most of this reply yesterday but didn't have time to post it. As as I look at the article today it seems to have been altered. I see that it was updated today: This story was updated at 12:15 p.m. ET.

Was this the title it had yesterday? Did the article include all of those references to “alien” and “alien planet.” Or maybe I missed this yesterday.

    Brookings Report

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Proposed Studies on the Implications of Peaceful Space Activities for Human Affairs, often referred to as "the Brookings Report", was commissioned by NASA and created by the Brookings Institution in collaboration with NASA's Committee on Long Range Studies in 1960. It was submitted to the Committee on Science and Astronautics of the United States House of Representatives in the 87th United States Congress on April 18, 1961. It was entered into the Congressional Record and can be found in any library possessing the Congressional Record for that year.

The report does not specifically recommend a cover-up of evidence of extraterrestrial life, but does touch on this as a possibility. Noteworthy passages include the following:

"While face-to-face meetings with it [intelligent extraterrestrial life] will not occur within the next 20 years (unless its technology is more advanced than ours, qualifying it to visit Earth), artifacts left at some point in time by these life forms might possibly be discovered through our space activities on the moon, Mars, or Venus." – page 215

"Anthropological files contain many examples of societies, sure of their place in the universe, which have disintegrated when they had to associate with previously unfamiliar societies espousing different ideas and different ways of life; others that survived such an experience usually did so by paying the price of changes in values and attitudes and behavior." – page 215

"Since intelligent life might be discovered at any time via the radio telescope research currently underway, and since the consequences of such a discovery are presently unpredictable because of our limited knowledge of behavior under even an approximation of such dramatic circumstances, two research areas can be recommended––

Continuing studies to determine emotional and intellectual understanding, and attitudes–and successive alterations of them if any–regarding the possibility and consequences of discovering intelligent extraterrestrial life.**

Historical and empirical studies of the behavior of peoples and their leaders when confronted with dramatic and unfamiliar events or social pressures. Such studies might help to provide programs for meeting and adjusting to the implications of such a discovery. Questions one might wish to answer by such studies would include: How might such information, under what circumstances, be presented to or withheld from the public for what ends? What might be the role of the discovering scientists and other decisionmakers regarding release of the fact of discovery?" – pages 215-16

"An individual's reactions to such a radio contact would in part depend on his cultural, religious, and social background, as well as on the actions of those he considered authorities and leaders, and their behavior, in turn would in part depend on their cultural, social, and religious environment. The discovery would certainly be front-page news everywhere; the degree of political or social repercussion would probably depend on leadership's interpretation of (1) its own role, (2) threats to that role, and (3) national and personal opportunities to take advantage of the disruption or reinforcement of the attitudes and values of others. Since leadership itself might have great need to gage the direction and intensity of public attitudes, to strengthen its own morale and for decisionmaking purposes, it would be most advantageous to have more to go on than personal opinions about the opinions of the public and other leadership groups. – page 215

"The knowledge that life existed in other parts of the universe might lead to greater unity of men on Earth, based on the "oneness" of man or on the age-old assumption that any stranger is threatening. Much would depend on what, if anything, was communicated between man and the other beings . . ." – page 215

"The positions of the major American religious denominations, the Christian sects, and the eastern religions on the matter of extraterrestrial life need elucidation. Consider the following: 'The fundamentalist (and anti-science) sects are growing apace around the world . . . For them, the discovery of other life–rather than any other space product–would be electrifying. . . . some scattered studies need to be made both in their home centers and churches and their missions, in relation to attitudes about space activities and extraterrestrial life.'" – page 225, n.34
