Never let anyone be a priority when to them you're only an option
But don't forget because they don't love you the way you want
Don't mean they ain't loving you with all their heart and might
Their comes a time in life when you got to know what you know
And like faith it will be like the evidence of things not seen but hoped for
Love is so inexpically indescribale, it just is what it is, and it does what it does
People die for the lack of it, the want of it, the overflow of it and just for it
So when you've got it within you grasp don't abuse it or take it for granted
For just as it creeped in when you were unaware it can leave just the same
The things you will see people do in the name of love will make you weep
But don't you be no fool for love for if it is to be then it shall come to pass
So if it leaves let it go, for it is not yours or not yet ripe enough to withstand
For true love will withstand the test of time and weather through life's storms
Not saying that won't be rough times that make youl want to call it quits
But if it is for real something deep inside will make you stay and ride it out
Lastly, my child remember to love yourself first or noone else will

    I wish...

I wish I had my Nana around to give that advice
Especially since now the lack of that knowledge caused me a big price
It will be a very long time before I make that leap again for shame
It hurts way too much to love, & my heart can't take more pain

    Flow on Poet... Keep On...

Very nice, and thought provoking. Just what I needed here at 5 am, after a not-so-great night with "love".
