Occupation
i ain't occupied by nothin for too long
within me it lies,
rugged and raw
nappy and chapped
but beautiful in every sense of the word;
chanied to the base of an oak that no more grows
hidden agendas, of which no one else knows
this form is filled with rage and hate
mad at the male species because it predetermined her fate
claiming her inferior,
but a goddes in her true form
dormant in her activities, delicate in the norm
beating on the inside of my chest cavity with a vengence
hoping to come from inside to the outside with independence
pushing thru the depths of my soul
emerging thru the cavities between the folds
with a burning desire to escape from a bottomless pit,
a canyon of horrible odors and feelings distracted by scents
and still pushing forward
with dreams of hope to break out of the desolate home that bears no fruit,
but struggles to breathe thru the skin that's covered in a suit.
