My Valentine Girl

With arms unfurled, I proclaim to the world
You are my one true Valentine girl
No sadness, no bad times can ever prevail
The dawn you bring breathes wind in my sail

Though sunlit clouds float skies of blue
No day begins 'til I see you
Your giggle, your laugh, that early morning smile
Bathe like sun on the banks of the Nile

Deep in my chest, in my heart's cavity
I hold you there with Love's gravity
No temptation, no power can my resolve sway
For I love you true this Valentine's day
