{for one who wanted to hear the truth of me…and one who wanted to know the depths of me}.

“Look into the eyes of darkness…”

There are cracks in the fabric of lifelines
    That wind…and rewind
    In and around my
    Utopian misery

There are “wishing wells” of chicanery
Where I pay for the privilege of
    Deceiving me
    Under the misconception that
    Good exists

    Is that a truism?

    There are black holes
That consumes the void of nothingness
    That is my existence

    Beyond tomorrow
All I have are hollow images
    Of a “make-believe” existence
    I no longer believe in

    Can’t you see

I can’t find my way to the light
At the end of the tunnel
    Now, I wonder
    “is tomorrow meant for me?”

    Darkness overcomes

    the 'darkness'
is scary...and sometimes exciting...and i'm constantly fighting NOT TO GO OVER. but, for now, the light has me...in its grasp.
