Home is where the heart is, but my heart isn't her
Occupation
Living
<<<<Home is where the heart is, but my heart isn’t here
its somewhere distant, calling me to come near
Staying in one spot, is the only thing I fear
So I fight to get out this box thats trapping me with my peers

I don’t know where I’m headed, only time will tell
I’m in the middle of my journey and I’m waiting for my wings to propel
My mind is on the mission, the mission is to sail
I’ll sail on a ocean, with tides and waves that might cause me to fail

Might be in cali, where the sun is glistening
Or it might be in Detroit, where the winter snow and rain be drizzelin
Could even be in ATL, Houston, New York, haven’t made the decision
But honestly, I believe I’m from Heaven, I’m just down here visiting

I believe there's something bigger & better, I dont belong here
I know no place is perfect, but yo, its plain wrong here
everyone knows everyone and still dont get along here
my name and business get tossed like ping pong here

My fam wants me to stay and my friends dont believe that ill make it
But i see the vision, they just need their eyes dialated
I know these are my roots, but I cant lie, I hate it
I just wanna finish this year and escape this...

I just wanna find a home...
