My Symphony My alarm awakens my depression. I turn to avoid the day, one I seem to be living over and over. The familiar tune of sorrow crows from the black box, however her pitch tells me today will be worse then yesterday so I hit the snooze button and slink back into bed in hopes of a 15 minute reprieve. Fifteen minutes passes and no reprieve is granted so sorrow sings again. Yesterday sorrow sang a solo the day before that a duet with loneliness. Today she is accompanied by a symphony of altos playing loneliness, sopranos playing despair, baritones playing brokenness, and the bass playing regrets. All under the direction of a wand less conductor know as me. My alarm awakens my depression. I turn to avoid the day, one I seem to be living over and over.
