*this was very random but it was how i was feeling at the moment*

For a world where discrimination is still present and is being passed down from generation to generation
    my soul cries..
For a world where teenage woman think that they dont have the right to say no to penetration
    my soul cries...
For a world where now it is easier to get drugs than it is to get your family foodstamps
    my soul cries..
For a world where people who cant pay for education choose to go to army boot camps
    my soul cries..
my soul cries for the millions lost in silent struggles everyday, it cries for the millions of unheard stories, for the millions of unknown heros and for the millions of deserving families.

But for the black youth who have learned that to be educated is not being sumbmissive to a white power as a whole
    My soul rejoices...
For the black fathers who have not only taken responsibility but actually have done their part and played their role
    my soul rejoices
For the community that is becoming more aware
    my soul rejoices
For backs clothed that were once bare
    my soul rejoices
For my people...my black people..my beautiful black people
    my soul rejoices

Although your soul cries in earnest for those things that sadden us, there is that light, that hope that encourages. Do flow on poetess.

    Sis 4g0tt3n_Canc3r,,

I like how you balance the negative with positive. This piece had my soul crying inside but when I read the second half I also felt a sense of rejoice.

Thank you for blessing us with this scribe.

    Peace & Blessings
