Tired and exasperated
I hunger for release
By any means necessary
Can take disappointments
No longer
Tried to lose myself in a number of things
Yet misery always finds me
How I wish love knew where to find me
Yet misery keeps changing the signs
To my whereabouts
Thereby directing love
In the wrong direction
While I drown in sorrows
Not knowing how to swim
No savior to rescue me
I find myself
Sitting here
Staring down this long metal tunnel
To where
My deliverer shall emerge
In one quick moment
It shall be over
No more pain and suffering
And I shall be at peace
This messenger shall carry me away
From this world of pain
Leaving behind
The loneliness
The heartaches
The sufferings
Maybe then others will appreciate me
For doing them this favor
No longer shall they be bothered by me
But free
They shall be
From my worrisome existence
Pulling on the trigger
My savior emerges
To carry me home.
I hunger for release
By any means necessary
Can take disappointments
No longer
Tried to lose myself in a number of things
Yet misery always finds me
How I wish love knew where to find me
Yet misery keeps changing the signs
To my whereabouts
Thereby directing love
In the wrong direction
While I drown in sorrows
