    Why do I pray?

I pray for children without a voice
For those women overseas who don’t have a choice
For the poverty stricken girls and boys
And for those who have never had a reason to rejoice

    Why do I pray?

I pray for the for the sinner who has strayed away
For the children in the ghetto who have no where to play
For the evicted families with nowhere to stay
And for all the bull**** taxes we have to pay

    Why do I pray?

I pray for the children who are beat by there mothers
For the little girls raped by their brothers
For any human who hasn’t ever felt the love of another
And for the wives who have to keep their faces covered

    Why do I pray?

I pray for my country at war
I pray for soldier in Iraq who don’t know what they are fighting for
I pray for the drug addicts, rapist, and the whores
I pray for myself because there’s no guarantee that the god you serve will hear yours.

    1 Thessalonians 5:14-18
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
    Rejoice evermore.
    Pray without ceasing.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Whew, Sister!...THANK YOU for this! :toast:

    May your prayers "avail much!"

I also thank you for the Word that speaks to the "thorn in MY flesh!"
