Perceptions rearrange, While the season changes I am revolving Like doors, mentally evolving, Elevating my mind before times runs out. Time is so precious, like a gem. And like salt in an hourglass Every grain of it, I worship. I can’t condemn the ignorance of the world I flow through this life untouched, Un-sheltered from life’s complexities, never knowing which will affect me. I walk through this world day by day, struggling to make sense of the non-sense So instead I use my common sense on the daily, it won’t fail me Every penny I see, I pick up and put it in my pocket Call it how ya wanna call it; this world owes nothing to me And whatever I see the world throws at me, I catch, Knowing that I can make it mine rightfully.
