    october numbs me
inevitable death looms in the sky
like clouds hanging, lurking, blocking the sun's shine
the days are warm with a crisp cold in the frame
    the smell of blood
    from new life
    from certain death coming
    stays in my nostrils
    each morning dread awaits as
memories of a certain year lived and gone by
    cold sweat greeting the day
could it be her spirit calling to me
or my grief and guilt of her brutal murder
    my poor unborn baby
    unwanted pregnancy
reality of life pulsing, growing in my uterus
    sore breasts
    queezy stomach... vomiting
    sleepless nights
    sleepless october nights
    sleepless endless october nights
too sick to crash the million man march
and i know he didn't attend
cuz he wasn't even man enough to
demand to stay at my side
how the hell could my october man march with millions

    october

    hollow pumpkin grizzly face
    my horror lived inside me
    my horror soon to come
my october doomed me to sadness, death, grief
    unbearable depression
    how could ths beautiful weather
cover up the hell i had to face
inside me was cold, dark, and damp
my october brought no warm sunny days
    no smiles to my face
for inevitable death loomed in my sky
hanging, lurking, mocking like clouds blocking
    my sun's shine
    can you now see
why i go numb in october?

Yes, I do see why you'd be numb in the
    hell month of October....!
    This is a heavy piece...
melancholy and solitude have been formally introduced
    to depression...

    Thanks for this!!

    My Poor Child

If life was so simple... God Bless you and I pray that that the Lords season may bring back your sunshine..take away you darkness...and eleviate your melancholy. This was very deep and touched me in ways I have never felt..God Bless you and know that if you can get through this...you can get through anything and that you have to go through bad times to appreciate the good ones.
