**Crescendo**

It was deaf mute ignorance
That I didn’t hear before
That sacred love could
Do-re-me-fah-talk
Until I evolved and
My body became amplified
Eloquent
My sugar walls have Richter scaled
Echoes in ecstasy surround sound
So deep, so base
My tone pitches good Lord! waves
Of voluminous yes, Jesus! Screams
Tenuated “ahs”
Harmonized “ohs”
Hard raspy moans
Made soft
Oh
My
God
Undulating convulsions
Rocket my fleshy frame
To stratospheric planes
My moon zoomed bursting
Heavy throbs, oceanic thirsting
My body temple
Was a trebled tempo
Trembling
When I came wailing
A purified sanctified justified
So-lah-ti-do
