(Peace fam, not intending to flood the forum. Last one tonight)

<Hey, you on the corner with the blunt.
    Smoking that green stuff,
    That Ill, mean, weed stuff.
Can you open my valves that are tightly shut?
Or are you only able to get f'ed up?>

<Nah lil homie I can show you the way,
Just spark this hydro and you feel better right away.>

    <Nah Bro, I don't touch the green,
I'm anti drugs and everything inbetween. Ciao.>

<Peace God, what's good fam, blessings god body.>

    <Peace lil G, freedom is yours.>

<No doubt, I'm ill, heavy in the scriptures.
Started laughing at age 14 seeing white jesus in dem pictures.>

<That's tight, keep it real and always pursue learning.
But from the look in your eyes there's a strange flame that's burning.>

<Word to mother, I am hemmed up by the worldly forces.
Unable to open the chakras for a number of causes.>

<I see, I see, then check this:
    Don't get reckless,
    Spark the green to chill.
Or find a Earth to inhabit.
This way you can be safely horny like a rabbit.>

<I hear that yo, but I'm not on that tip.
I don't want promiscuity or lower desires in my worldly trip.
But I gots to be out, so stay wise and knowing.>

<Salaam man of the mosque, any words for a young man in pain?>

My son, Allah is the way. The Holy Book has the answers you see---

<Yo, that ish is as foreign to Afrika as homosexuality.
    See you later.

    Greets Mr. Pastor, nice car.>

<My child, Jesus is the way. What ails you?>

<Well, you see, I have adapted the systems of your religion, and it has brought misfortune upon my continent and peoples. What is your response?>

<In the hearts of man lies many corruption's, but the word of the Lord is pure.>

<For sure my Elder, I recognize.
But your holy book is written by the red, white and blue.
And when the oppressor came he forced that book and religion upon you!
You are as lost as I.
    Word to the 3rd eye.>

<Master Teacher Queen Sister, much respect to you.
    Can you offer me respite?>

<Little Brother hold on, times are wild.
I see in your eyes the same element as our thugs.
    I m your mother as a woman.
I can offer you my embrace, but it is not a lasting thing, only a hug.>

<Then, as a Spirit Empress, what advice can you give me?>

    <Balance thy self, young King.
You are not addicted to the Bling,
But your craving for company is a sickly thing.>

<Nay, empress, being social is an Afrikan thing!>

<Aye, so you say, but your desire for people
    Is both good and evil.
This is why your Sister friends and you too often end up in bed,
Be careful of the lonely voices that live in your head.>

<Your words are true, and cut like a knife.
But the loneliest story I know is the one of my life.
I have read papers of Isis, and studied spirits of Intimacy...
But no cure have I found for this discrepancy.>

<Be upon your way, warrior of the Sun.
Your insecurity can kill you more efficiently than a gun.
The answers you seek, lie in the crevice of your soul.
Fill that black hole or it will swallow you hole.>

<So I wander on my way, wondering what to turn.
Thinking it is right to aspire, but wrong to yearn.>

    My mentor told me,
    Wanting women to hold me
    Is indeed unhealthy.

    As a man he knows,
The ups and downs and the flows
In the rivers of a man.
So I seek out Self Discipline as the new law of the land.

    Living in the matrix
    Surrounded by fakeness.
    I'm surrounded by abundance
    But hollow internally.
So many years unable to cry from numbness
    Wanting to shed tears eternally.

    Pray for me.

You have a thirst for knowledge, you yearn to know what's true and what's right for you. Every search outward, leads you back within in turn. Keep expressing yourself, I enjoy reading you.

    Bump.

I'm loving the new Destee system. Started browsing thru my old posts, then suddenly saw this. Can't even remember writing this one, and reading it was a hoot. So many years have passed, so many things have changed and some haven't.

    One,

    "...surrounded by abundance
    But hollow internally."

a self-aware brutha needs no instruction in tearing. he cries at the disrespect before him...the degradation he loathes. he cries at the down-hill slide that allows his passion to hide in the face of peaceful sleep. he cries for the whole, hoping for us all to stand up...and be one. when he's done, he'll cry for the giving of his all.

    the river floweth.
