    Ebony,
    Sweet Ebony,
How rich and lovely your skin,
    Your complexion,
A mixture of light and dark
    With your silent complexity
    You capture my heart
    Ebony,
    Sweet Ebony,
    With passionate longing,
    I gaze into your depths,
    Longing
    With infinite yearning
    To pierce your depths,
    But impossible you are,
    Impossible to read
    As I casually gaze
    Into those serene pools,
    Ebony,
    Sweet Ebony,
    How I dream,
    Long
    To caress your chocolate skin
    With your smooth curves,
    I become unnerved
    Knowing,
    As I’ve always known
    My dream,
It could never compare to your reality...

    WELCOME!

And this poem was very poignant, very soft.

Plus, it really gives one something to think about when the "reality" surpasses the "fantasy!" Whoever he is, he's a baaaaad man! lol

OOOH! My brother (assuming you are not a sister, why is that?)!

This was hot, this was real, this was sincere, this was what I needed.

This piece is on point, that is to say, it eloquently expresses the love we as Afrikans have for ourselves seen from a romantic, engaging and even spiritual perspective.

I dare say even some non-Afrikans dream of us this way.

You sir/madame, are truly coming correct with this.

    THANK-YOU.

In fact, this piece inspired me to write something (thanks for the inspiration).

    Black woman,
    Glorious ebony woman,
What manner of environment molded you to be this way?
I glance, stare and drown in your darkness.
    A quiet place
Infinitely bigger than where the stars rest at night.
    Such a beautiful face
That erases my memories of death, poverty and black plight.

    Full piece here.

    One.
