My Dearest Love

It is with “Deepest Respect”
And “Sincerest Regret”
That I come to you
“Begging Forgiveness”
For having IGNORED you these last few hours
Normally, I would shower you with
Gratitude & Endearments
And Promises of Lasting Devotions
Never allowing the NOTION of a
“You Without Me” thought
To enter your Consciousness

So, I come
Begging a REprieve
And hoping you believe
When I say, It shall not happen again
This…grievous sin
I’ve perpetrated against you

It’s true

Love has no bounds
And my boundless heart
Does jump with joy
At the thought of “Loving You”

So, please

FORGIVE ME my oversight
In not seeing the plight
My ignorance would cause
Loneliness
Missed opportunities
But let not our RELATIONSHIP fall
For, an EGREGIOUS error it would be
To forego the future NICEties of a
“You and Me”

Forgive me, Please.
