I don't have some half dreamed
    Foggy memory
    Induced by therapy
I can still feel cold tile floor
    On my backside

    You lifted my dress
    Above my face
    In those days it was
    Scratchy petticoats
    Stiff with starch

When you put it between my legs
    Until friction made you erupt
    My face covered
    Thankfully
I did not have to see you

Cindy, sadly, when the innocence of children gets violated it leaves a lasting impression.
Worse yet, it is often by those we trust.

    Save the children ~

timeless gifts stolen in the depth of trust by the one's we love
too many times children is taken into broken virginity, engaged
unto acts not understood till the later morrow da sorrow set in.
Sadly hurt and often a family affair..

Truelly, I have had to learn to forgive over and over...I do, then it creeps back in...I write it out and forgive again. I can not quite forget the rage it sets in motion. I have to learn to forgive a little better. Looking to volunteer at a center soon, though. Maybe that will help. My heart goes out to those (children/adults) that have had to endure...
Thank you for reading me and your heartfelt comments. :)

    This is not happening
He put his hand on my knee
Saying how much he missed me

    This is not happening
    He just propositioned me
Which in less words called me whore

    This is not happening
You did not just offer me money
    For a blow job

    This not happening
Arriving for a our dad's funeral
    And you hit on me

    This not happening
That you said you missed our relationship
(That started when I was five)

    This is not happening
I am sixty and through years of therapy
    Put away your evil

This just is not be happening
    Oh brother of mine, again
Now I know how to kick and scream
