Mr. preacher man
Mr. preacher man: it's so hard for people to believe in god
With so many shooting's and stabbin's in the tenement yards.
We have no, respect for each other, and strung out on dope.
People everywhere need back their hope.

What's a mother to do?
Whom does she tell her troubles to?
What you think a mother gonna say? When the call comes that her child is DOA.
It doesn't matter if her child is white or black. . . .
Their fates the same if they are using crack.

Mr. preacher man: what I need to understand is this.
Why do you keep speaking with a double-tongue?
How do you feel? . . . when you keep burying our young?
Where do you really stand? Who . . . Do we really blame?
While our children keep dying in the bloody rain?

Every Sunday they come to your church.
But whenever they need you they’re left in a lurch.
Can't you see that the people are angry & distressed?
No jobs! No food! Strung out on drugs, many homeless.

Mr. preacher man: is this in God's plan?
Are you a man of God? A . . . real clergyman?
Or just another businessman out to boost his asset.
By profiting off the sweat of them who isn’t awake yet?

We know you are not heaven-sent, just hellbent.
Because you only worry about your 10 percent.
Whatcha’ gonna do? Come out of that pulpit!
Cause the things you are saying, AIN’T worth a @@it.
Why don't you tell the people the truth?
Are you really trying to save our youth?
Guns is firin', children is dyin'
Families are suffering . . . Mothers are crying.

So how many rivers do we have to cross?
Before we can talk to the boss?
A word to the wise is sufficient. Don't be so loathing.
People beware of the wolves in sheep clothing.
Remember! A goat always leads the lamb to the slaughter.
Mr. preacher man: AIN’T you gonna help save our sons and daughters?

Mr. preacher man! Free them from their spiritual jails,
Lead them to Gods glory. Tell them the true story.
Jesus has already paid the ultimate price.
Don't make our children another sacrifice! Amen.
Mr. preacher man
