Do you guys think he was right to cancel is campaigning compared to romney still wanting to campaign and tell people to "donate to the red cross" and other things. It's a toss up. I mean honestly Mr. Obama is the president so he doesn't have to work as hard as Romney to get votes and also he is going to let the election take care of itself for he is more concerned about the folks in Sandy's path.

Here's another source on the topic, and a pic showing who's in charge, lol. Actually, he has no choice legit-writer, can you imagine what Romney would be saying if the President continued campaigning:

Obama gets Sandy update, scraps more campaign plans

ORLANDO, Fla.—President Barack Obama scrapped plans to campaign Wednesday in the pivotal battleground state of Ohio and will stay in Washington, D.C., to monitor the federal government's response to the superstorm, the White House said.
On Tuesday, Obama got an update on Hurricane Sandy via teleconference in the White House's Situation Room.
"The president expressed his concern for those impacted by the storm, as well as the heroic first responders who are selflessly putting themselves in harm's way to protect members of their communities," read a statement from the White House. "He also noted his sadness over the loss of life associated with the storm so far."

Romney turns rally into a ‘storm relief event’

But the Republican nominee still tried to cast a non-political tone, scrapping his usual stump speech in favor of remarks in which he spoke of those "suffering" and "hurting" in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
According to his campaign, Romney will hold rallies in Tampa, Coral Gables and Jacksonville, even as Obama spends another day off the campaign trail overseeing the administration's response to the storm.

yeah it's clear that Romney does not care for people like he claims he does. I laughed when I heard him "encouraging" people to donate to the red cross and so on.

Yes. This action demonstrates his ability to direct his attention to 'what is really important' at this given point in time!

But I knew, even without energy, that Obama was doing something worth my vote!

What an amazing President we have! Four more years!

    ABSiblings

...Its good having you back ABSiblings, been worried bout you; hope all is well with you and yours, sounds like you had a energy problem. Where you in harms way during the storm? How about Long Island, is it affected badly?

Like we've been saying all along, he is the President and continues to do presidential things... :toast:
