I am sitting here contemplating this stack of boxes. Except for my dishes almost all my worldly goods are piled up on my couch leaning over in a way that defies gravity like some Dr. Seus picture.
I will not call this place where I am a dump lest I despise the ancestors and forces of the universe who by some miracle have kept me safe for the six years I've lived here. But now it is time to go and I'm so happy.
On Thursday I will move into a deluxe apartment up in the big league getting my turn at last. Long as we live it's you and me, Baby. Ain't nothing wrong with that.
Which means I may go missing around here for a couple days while I get hooked up.
Just don't know how those boxes can stay leaning over like that. It's uncanny.
