    Do you remember when,

Fireworks at the river walk aquarium,

Back when we were mirrors then,

    Reflections of one another’s existence,

The fence gets defenseless against this commitment,

I sought out the distance and brought you back a Kingdom,

The air was blushed with color I wish you could’ve seen it,

Our legs parallel in the evening,

All tongues lie and the eyes are deceiving,

In my mind I escape and then I awake,

In my mind I await and then I awake,

In my mind there’s a face that covers mine,

High hearted like kited lines, ribbons and skies,

Deep as the red wines aged pass its prime,

Beautiful as the universe and its never ending lines,

Together as In you and I.
