    Mother Africa

The world is held within my womb
    Cradled in the amniotic fluid
    That is love
    For I am Mother Africa
    Rich in culture
    Divine by race
I give birth to the thought
    That is you
    For I am Mother Africa
Suckled with the milk of peace
Fed with the food of war
    I walk with you
    In you
    On you
    For I am
    Mother Africa
