After my Father
woke me up this morning
I took my shower and
found myself
blessed by the
stream of the water

per
....vad
.........ing

OVER ME

blessed by this

element~
in the name of the
Holy Spirit~

cleasning

ME

feeling
........finding

FREE

as I...
sing along
rock~
and
praise~
God
standing in
my nakedness...

"Love...a word that comes and goes
but few people Really know
what it means to Really
Love some-body
ooohhh love
though the tears may fade away
I'm so glad your love will stay
cause I LOVE YOU
and you've shown me...
JESUS...
what it Really means
to LOVE"

As I begin to cry
baptizing my eyes
outstretched arms
reaching towards the skies I

continue...

the nights that I cried

when I SHOULD'VE DIED

Morning Baptism

opening up my heart and mind

my life is right on time
God's time
where I'm supposed to be
spiritually
yet...
being baptized to
another level
internally~
externally~

I just want to thank God for this

Morning's Baptism

Thank you for my life's experiences
thank you for the love the...
undying~
unconditional~
love that you have for me

I pray that with this baptism comes a light
a light that shines so bright within me that
people will be drawn to me and be touched by
the spirit that dwells within me whether through
conversation~
my smile~
my eyes~ (they tend to say alot)
dance~
or poetry~

I love my Lord and Savior and I know
HE LOVES ME TOO!

Desert Storm

The most difficult one for me...patient love. I must say that I've improved greatly. The proof? I'm (temporarily) residing with my mom (at a time when she probably needs it-even if she never admits it)!

Ma sistah...thank you for your poetic reply. People say I don't have much to offer. This may be true, maybe not. All I know is that if I can be a blessing to someone else through my testimony...my life experiences no matter how gruesome, then I feel like I have accomplished something good. I pray that God would be pleased.
