i'm baaaack,yep it's a another slow day so here goes...did you know that... the motown classic[shop around]was originally sung by[claudette robinson]but berry gordy wanted a different version...the sixties classic[he'll be back-the players]only the lead singer was used and [the dells] sung background...soul singers[wilson pickett][james brown]had a bitter fued over a woman...[james brown] once came after[joe tex]with a gun because[joe tex]made fun of one of his songs...the great[clyde mcphatter]only sung in the[drifters]for one year...[eddie kendricks]did not want[melvin franklin]in[the temptations]in the beginning...the[marvin gaye]album[here my dear]was recorded as part of his divorce settlement...well that's it for this segment,but i'll be back on-the next slow day.
