    Hello Family,

I remember seeing a documentary on television featuring a tribe in Africa, where it was the custom for the female to have multiple husbands.

Does anyone know the name of this tribe?

I think i was descended from them and would like to find out more about my people.

Thanks in advance for your help.

OK, some research done. Polandry(multiple husbands) does not only exist in Africa, but among aborigines in Australia and even in some(don't quote me on this-going by memory) European areas. Now for you specifically-what specific I got that it was practiced in Jos Plateau,Nigeria among the Iriqwe and Tiriki tribes. edit*Just go to google-key in polyandry*africa.
