Look i've been holding this one for too long now so if i didn't let it go soon i was gonna burst. I guarantee that those who need to read will not....Fear of the truth...

Where’s the one who will stand next to me
When the world crashes down on my mental
Taking my thoughts and rearranging them so
That I will fit the description of the next man

And yet the next man was the past man whom
Was the last man to stand and abuse and now
I’m the one suffering from the mis-use of you
And all I ever did was offer to you the true me

Can’t you see past yesterday to see tomorrow?
Is brighter with each day s long as you stand
And not sit on the memories of afflicted pain
By one who sought no other way to show
Their misguided concept of real true manhood

I am not the one who caused you pain and just
Because my skin is dark and my back is strong
And my vernacular reminds you of the latter do
Not inflict upon me the atrocities of such for I do
Not deserve to clean up the mess of another;

You seek a real man and yet when one stands up
Before you he is nothing more than a carbon Copy
of the last maybe the least but much more The beast
of your past whom you settled for In the first place

I’m not hating on you so don’t hate on me for its
Seems you only like it when I was always heated
By your indiscriminant seed planting of control cuz
You think I can’t see your subliminal attempts to
Make me into another reason to believe all men are dogs

Look closer with eyes open shut to understand that The
one whom stands before you is not the lesser of Past
evils nor is he one whom you settled for thinking You
could get better so treat him as he walks and give Him
the chance he deserves without convicting him before trial…

Guilty but never proven innocent….

Real men are more than just a concept in books, movies and soap operas

i lovededid it

and who gonna give you that chance to stand up

So'ja,

you brought this one out man. You posted a work that was pulling at somethings i was holding back for a while. When you dropped that one it opened the door for this one.The key is this: All men ever wanted was the chance to be accepted as individuals not to be compared to the media description or the pain of past relationships. Basically what i'm saying is to give a brotha a chance before beating them down with a bottle of "Haterade"

ya know what i mean?

thanks for the read bro' and i knows ya standing cuz we looking eye to eye...

yea i know about that Haterade

i get beat down by Haterade all the time

young black man
from BKNY
not an idiot

so i know very well

and thanks for you support cause my respect was very high for you
now we're reaching epic proportions

Peace

SPEAK DA TRUTH BRUTHAS

JUST WANNA BE ACCEPT AS ME A MAN OF HONOR
YET I GET A BEATDOWN ONLY TO STAND STRONG AGAIN
LIFE HANDS US MEN A RAW DEAL BUT REAL MEN FEEL THE WAY
TELL DA TRUTH ...................Y'ALL HEARD ME....!
