Black Money Business Jobs : Money (extreme)

What is something weird happened and all our precious metals were gone? What would you suggest we do then for investing?

Historically "money" is whatever is valued by a particular culture or those in power. So if precious metals were to go, based on current conditions most world of the worlds economies would fall, but then they would find something else to replace it. of course it would have to be something useful, and then they would also have to tell u that there is so little of it to go around just to boost demand when the fact is there is so much of it they have to hide and hoard it as is the case with diamonds. So whatever is next in line of value and high demand would be essentially "next best thing"...(to manipulate) But god forbid that should ever happen because then theyd try to hoard and sell you water in the place of those metals...Oh wait theyre already doing that...smh

Yes, and of course the value of money at any given time is directly related to faith, without it money loses it's percieved value.

By precious metals, do you mean gold, platinum and silver and not rare earth? Because rare earth metals are way more precious than gold and if no rare earth metals are available, utter economic collapse will ensue. No gold or silver, advance economies would probably re-adjust after a recession (not countries like China though which is dependent more on steel/copper and rare earth metals than gold). There are some important technological applications of gold though, but I guess they'll find alternatives. No rare earth metals = global failure.

Anything can be money, even seashells.
