Next Saturday Sharmba Mitchell is going to fight a rematch with undisputed jr. welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu. This should be a great fight, which I predict Mitchell is going to win. Tszyu has been one of the best fighters of the last 10 years, so I encourage all boxing fans to check this one out!

I believe the fight starts at 9pm. Tsyzu is a very good fighter. He is extremely strong, durable, and make few mistakes in the ring. However he is also getting older, and is slow. In addition to this, he has not fought in 2 years because of injury. In the meantime, Mitchell has been active, and has looked impressive. The 1st fight between these guys was a TKO victory for Tsyzu (Mitchell couldn’t continue due to an injured knee). Despite Tsyzu’s victory, many people felt Mitchell was actually winning up until the fight was stopped (yours truly included). This should be a great fight, but I think Mitchell is going to take it.

Tszyu knocked out Mitchell in the 3rd round last night to retain his position as the "undisputed" Super Lightweight Champ! Despite a 2 year layoff, Tszyu showed no signs of rust, and actually looked better than he has in years. Part of Tszyu's success was due to Mitchell's puzzling decision to trade, instead of box. The stronger Tszuy took advantage of this mistake, and caught Mitchell in the 2nd round, Mitchell got up, but never recovered. Good win for Tszyu...he is still the man at this weight class!

Panafrica I'm finally back online I saw the Mitchell Tszyu fight and man Kostya looked better than he did before he took the layoff..he seemed like a smarter fighter ..complete economy of motion ..no wasted movement and when he hit he did it with nothing but bad intentions...he knocked fire out of Sharmba man...I don't know what ol boy was thinking ...when he started standing there poppin with Tszyu and backing straight up from the exchange I was yellling at the screen...no man no! ....I'll give Tszyu due credit man..he's a Man pure and simple and he has thunder in both hands...not to mention that he eats southpaws.....I'm gonna miss him when he retires for true....

Good to see you back man! Mitchell fought the wrong fight, and paid for it. I didn't used to be a Tszyu fan, but the more I watch him, you have to appreciate his craft. The man is an artist, a true professional, and pound for pound one of the hardest hitters in the sport! Just in case you didn't know this saturday is going to be a heavyweight PPV: Chris Byrd vs. Jameel McCline; John Ruiz vs. Andrew Golota; Evander Holyfield vs. Larry Donald; and Hassim Rahman vs. Meehan. This isn't the greatest lineup ever, but being the true boxing fan that I am...I'm going to buy it. It will be worth the money if John Ruiz (perhaps the most boring fighter in the history of the sport) loses! :x:

Repeated straight rights & left hooks to the head will confuse anyone! Keep your hands up & don't stand in front of an opponent (especially a puncher), that is boxing 101!
