GOOD STUFF GIRL. I feel you on every word. I love this:
I’ve never aspired to be Miss America
Nor were my goals to bring world peace
Be judged by shallow vanity
And a revealing two-piece bikini
I will not tap dance in a top hat
Or sing an emotional pop ballad
I’m a disenfranchised black woman
With ruff edges and a blood stained legacy
keeping everything on the up most real
eyes wide open..
nice one here
indeed indeed !!!
u bring it correct love dis scribe here
mo mo mo !!! sistah
Oh hell yeah, my sister, right on, right on. I have felt this way about pageants always, and especially as they relate to the African-American legacy. You have put it all together in such a beautiful and wonderful way....mad love to you for this, girl. Off the chain.
you laid this down
speak on my angel sister
love this flow.....Angel
Sometimes...I just look at this life and it's so disheartening...everyday I have to fight
the stereotypes, ignorance and hatred..."being brown ain't easy" but at least God made me strong, wise
and gave me a vision...I'll follow him...while the rest of this world is caught up on frivolous,
irrelevant and often evil ambitions. Much love guys!...

Great goodness Lord have mercy
Your words are like a midnight call to those in the night afraid to find the light...
SPEAK my sista
If we don't embrace ourselves, who will? Kings and queens exist among us in so many ways...flow on...
U are my Queen Nzinga, strong, regal black woman who bows before noone, just walks by with long graceful strides with her head held high with pride. No smiles.
How many times have I told U I love your mind?
Well here's 1 more, I love your mind.
Very tight piece my sweet sister, I feel U totally on this 1 here.
