Has Mike been redeemed?
MJ is a well known butte hole......that ain't gonna cahage
Everyone who grows up in a place that's ethnically diverse has had issues with cultural differences. Sometimes it escalates to full blown racism instead of prejudice. My problem with the whole talk about racism is it usually gets confused with prejudice and bigotry. In many instances someone says something is racist when that's not what it really is.
racist or hypocrite? Why? Because he was against all white people in his youth? name me a black man growing up in the sixties...seventies south who wasn't against all white people? maybe the question should be, "racist or confused." "Confused," because being against a people who're trying to kill you isn't racism...it's a test of your sanity, your restraint, and your survival skills. i don't think that makes you a hypocrite because you felt that way...in that environment...and does not feel that way today. we change, we grow, we mature. that's life.
I see neither here, hell I was a racist because I grew up in the 60's and was lied on by the white cops for breaking in a school. They are trying to make something out of nothing.
He could have and should have been speaking on these issues long ago. Maybe there wouldn't be a Sterling. He is in the hypocrite category to me
The story is sensationalism... an attempt to shame one because Sterling opened his mouth so that is could appear as we all do it.
But was it racism or a defensive response to racism?
If someone is calling you outside your name... are you supposed to speak or act gently towards them?
If they create an atmosphere of animosity. .. are you supposed to want to be around them?
It didn't seem to be an issue in college or the pros
What kind of question is this?
A young Black man dealing with the Klan is called a Racist?
M.J.'s problem is he's sleeping with a White woman; not that he responded intelligently to one of America's terrorist organizations.
