    Her heart sang to him the most beautiful song
    Their souls tied as life’s tightest knot

    But..

    Never did he realize the beautiful Kween that had always been in his presence,
    Never did he consider that beautiful Kween that was forever by his side
    Never did he fathom that this was the woman of all women,
    The woman that was material of being his wife

    Eyes wide shut,
    Nostrils wide closed
    He never saw the light
    And now,
    A life with this Kween…He will never know…..

    Nice piece...to the point. It reminds me of an old saying my gramps used to run by me when we played cards..."you think long, you think wrong." To have a Queen, a real African Queen one who knows who she is ,why she is and overstands the connection between her and her black king-that is joy unadulterated.

    Even wrse is when one knows their eyes are wide shut, and still refuses to open them. This was sadly posed, but on point.
