tree, tree, tractor, tree, cow
i just "sorta edited this...hope that it reads better!

yeah i used to rock...
half locks,
half twists,
braids,
the all natural flow
and yeah...
now i'm semi-processed skin turned honey-brown by Helios and hi-*** yellow when he takes a rest
and yeah...
i love my chocolate brothers with that smooth creamy skin
and um...
that dark eyelash eye highlighter
and trust me...
i'm not leavin out my bright brothers in their personal spotlight glory cause...
my beautiful brother looks just like me
and my sistas...
oooh my sistas...
so many different shades and sizes all gorgeous epitome of any man's wet dream

our mothers bled the same hope and concern birthing us
that they yield kings and queens to inherit this earth
(as did their's)
that we shall take hope's legacy and carry on
to the ultimate power that's a must preserve
a challenge that i grasped first with pudgy dimpled hands
(the ring my mother's finger i still cling to)
the glory of our capabilities i will never abandon

the way that the light carries our vision to color recognition
is truly only a natural phenom brought to us as a gift
to find beauty in technicolor
nubian doesn't define skin tone so much as grace
...or does it?
does it in your societal-ized, post-traumatic mainframe?
does my question prove that i'm trippin too?

my wish the coming together like bricks and mortar
to form a tower of...
perfect order
...of strength
...one love..
****...maybe i am just trippin...
