Black Poetry : (Mess)ages

How did we get ourselves
into this heap of
-- one thing after another
losing us as friends
because we
rushed movements underneath
covers that
baited and beckoned
calls of the wild--
...animal kingdom
watching humans
go at it for hours
as we continue to
tempt -- and --double "dog" dare
lured to invite
'entice' to dinner
on weekend getaways
away from
realities that
befriended an oasis
of sexual complacenies
braiding bodies
making baskets
of what is called
"LUST" weave
that took
us on a journey
to visit passion and
explore iridescent bows
of rain that
"came" after
coochie clouds poured
containers of
enamored fluid
that enshrined
elevated wood
allowing it to fully
develop and
grow...
and it grew...and....
.....
As we finished
making a mess
we left taking
samples of each other
for memories
to keepsake safe
reminders of
the voyage
that allured
what we thought
we'd found
...lost friends
because the
covers underneath
brown bodies
lied to us
leaving no messages
the next
day...but instead
indications of a
(mess) telling your (age)
and immaturity...
someone else
will reap the benefits
that you
deny me
