    Akwabaa! Greetings, ImHotep! All!

Meet Dr. Bobby E. Wright....one of my Professional Parents

    My, My, My!
This is the first time I've ever heard him speak. I learned of him while in the PhD program, yet, at the time I was finished my course work. I was actually working on putting together my Dissertation proposal when I was introduced to his work:
The Psychopathetic Racial Personality and other Essays

Free Your Mind! Get a TheRapist

seems as if a part or two is missing here..then he hit us with THIS!!!
    MUST SEE AND HEAR*******
    THERE IS NO "SYSTEM".....

There are several others yet seems to be a bit out of order.
Question/Answer period follows and are informative as well.
    Here is one...

    His SPIRIT Lives on in

    Dr. Bobby E. Wright

    Love & Blessings Sister True,
I was afforded the opportunity to meet Dr. Wright in the late 70's. He was such a beautiful brother who spoke from his heart. I also resided within walking distance of the facility that he founded on the westside of Chicago. I consistently use his term mentacide because of it's importance in under-standing exactly what is ailing in our community.
    Faith is a keeper!

    Thanks for Sharing Ms Drea!

That's great to hear. He certainly seems to have had a dynamic Energy. I think it comes with the territory of really "coming from the heart" of the work one does.
I wonder if his center is still active:?: Do you know?

It's so sad that many scholars in the Mental Health Arena are not more wedded to the ideology of Liberation. They don't speak so boldly or loudly about it to me. More could be done!.
At the same time, I know to attempt very much more than providing for the needs of self and immedicate family is about all any of us can really do anymore. So many remain silent and go along to get along...in this racist society.
I liked what he was saying about there not being a "System". It's PEOPLE who makes decisions they KNOW will negatively impact on another's life. They just happen to have white colored skin and that is just the TRUTH.
