And this is the challenge, I guess
To retain a willing capacity for feeling
even when feeling
has slapped you speechless
more times than you can form words to convey.
Dare to break the hold of memory
and banish shadow for light,
Learn to love freely because love is all there is,
And release all fear,
realizing that fear is bondage
even when camouflaged in kisses

You have opened my soul wide,
Whispered into my ear the song
That beats in time
with the fullness of creation
Dared me to dance.

And if for a moment I glimpse
A bit of eternity in your eyes,
Or taste the stuff of heaven
on your sweet and yielding lips,
Then I am reminded that
a moment and eternity
are One
in that realm where love abides.
And there I find my peace.

Derrick: Wow. I LOVE it when i get a poem in response to a poem! Dynamic inspiration at its best. Synergy!! Your response was wonderful. Thank you. You know how much I admire your work any time and any place I find it.

$$RICH$$ !! We're blessed when we find someone who excites us and brings us a feeling of peace, all at the same time. I consider myself blessed. I'm glad you felt me.
